The Hotstovers Baseball Club of South Jersey inducted seven members into the South Jersey Baseball Hall of Fame at its 48th annual Awards Dinner on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Masso's Columbus Manor, Black Horse Pike, Williamstown.
This year's Hall of Famers are coaches Joe Barth Jr., Bill Schillig and John Bush, and players Mario Patrizi, Bob Winters and Mike Koerner. Philadelphia Inquirer sportswriter Sam Carchidi is going in as a contributor. The South Jersey Baseball HOF is located at the entrance to Campbell's Field, home of the Camden Riversharks. In addition to the HOF inductees, the Hotstovers honored Joe's own Tri-State Arsenal 2007 15U Blue team for winning the AAU Division 1 National Championship in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Barth, of Erial, is a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School and Rider (Ewing) University. He has been the longtime coach of the Brooklawn American Legion team leading it to the national championship in 1992. Under Barth's coaching, Brooklawn has won 18 state championships and 11 regional titles. Joe also assisted South Jersey Hall of Famer Al Radano in 1980 when Gloucester Catholic was ranked first in the nation with a 25-0 record. Barth was named American Legion Coach of the Year in 1992 and USA Legion Coach of the Year in 2000.
Barth has also been very successful in the development of Baseball players through the years, producing over 100 major league players and thousands of collegiate players from his Hit Doctor Baseball Academy, located in Cherry Hill, NJ. Barth also has become prominent in developing National Caliber Travel Baseball teams with his Arsenal Baseball Program, with several of his teams reaching and winning National Championships, including this year's 15U team.
